Privacy Policy

The short version: Nudgiboo is built around private things between two people. We only collect what the app needs to work, your partner sees what you share with them, and we don't sell your data.
This policy explains how the Nudgiboo app handles your information. Nudgiboo ("we") operates the app. You can reach us at nudgiboo@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you use the app, we collect:
- Account details: such as your email address or sign-in details, and your name or nickname.
- Your profile: your character style and the choices you make while setting up.
- Your connection to your partner: the invite or link that pairs your two accounts.
- What you create: nudges, Relationship Court answers and verdicts, and character interactions.
- Device and technical details: a notification token so nudges can reach you, plus your device type, app version and error information.
- Purchases: if the app offers paid features, Apple or Google handles payment. We'd receive confirmation of what you bought, not your card details.
How we use information
- To run the app, including delivering nudges and connecting you with your partner.
- To keep them secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To understand and improve what we've built.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to send important notices about your account.
- To meet our legal obligations.
What your partner can see
Nudgiboo is made for two people. Anything you send or share in the app, such as nudges, court answers and verdicts, is visible to the partner you've connected with. Once they've seen something, we can't control what they remember or screenshot.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the app, such as Supabase for accounts and data, and Apple and Google for notifications.
- When the law requires it, or when needed to protect someone's safety or our rights.
- If Nudgiboo is ever sold or merged, in which case we'd tell you first.
These providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we'll delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time, unless we need to keep some of it for legal reasons or to resolve a dispute.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, to object to some uses of it, or to complain to your local privacy regulator. Email nudgiboo@gmail.com and we'll help. You can also turn off notifications in your device settings at any time.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no service can promise perfect security.
Children
Nudgiboo is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Our website
You can browse nudgiboo.com without an account. Cloudflare hosts it and processes technical details such as your IP address, and Google Fonts supplies its fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. We also use Google Search Console for combined reports on how people find the site.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app or by email.
